Welcome to the CRIDOC financial reports page. Donors trust us with their gifts, and we owe them a clear account of how we use them. This page shows the importance of clear financial reporting for nonprofit transparency and how we manage money and what checks we use.

How We Manage Finances

Our funds come from international donors, foundations and kind supporters. We treat each gift with care. Our approach is careful and open. We follow seven rules. These rules shape our CRIDOC financial reports and our daily money work.

1. Donor Relations and Communication

We keep clear lines open with our funders. Donors know how we use their gifts. We answer their questions promptly.

2. Budgeting and Financial Planning

We draw up full budgets that match our goals. Every plan links back to our work for children. Our 2030 targets guide what we plan and fund.

3. Financial Monitoring and Reporting

We track what we spend. We prepare regular reports. These reports feed into our CRIDOC financial reports for donors and the public.

4. Accurate Record Keeping

We keep a safe and up-to-date record system. Every payment and receipt is logged. Good records make our CRIDOC financial reports sound.

5. Internal Controls and Auditing

We use checks inside the team to prevent errors and misuse. We also carry out regular internal and external audits. Outside reviewers help keep us honest.

6. Compliance and Reporting

We follow local and international financial rules. We are a registered NGO in Malawi. Our charity number is R.G. 20754/1M/5.2005.

7. Transparency and Accountability

Gaps in Our CRIDOC Financial Reports

We want to be open with you. We have not produced yearly financials since 2018. We faced problems within the institution. Then COVID-19 closed our office. We resumed work in 2022. We are working to bring our reporting up to date.
